‘Gene Stratton-Porter’ | Rome City, IN (2024)
Commissioned by Sylvan Shores Diner in Rome City, this mural depicts Gene Stratton-Porter, a famous author, nature photographer, and silent-film producer who grew up in Wabash County during the late 1800’s. Finding success in the 1900’s, she decided to settle down on Sylvan Lake, finding beauty in the serenity of Indiana wildlife. There, she and her husband built a cabin where spent her time researching, working, and exploring the local wetlands.

'Welcome to Columbia City' | Vintage Blessed in Columbia City, IN (2023)
Commissioned by Vintage Blessed General Store in Columbia City, this mural was very personal to owners Michelle and Ken. Its main function is to be an eye-catching way to welcome drivers to the city but could also be an interactive experience for photos, allowing someone to pose along the road. The eagle represents the local high school’s mascot, while the left composition shows the beautiful farmlands the city is surrounded by. The buildings depict mainly notable locations such as the courthouse, hospital, post office and the sunflowers and dog were a personal homage to the owners.
‘Homecoming of the Eagles’ | Churubusco, IN (2023)
Located on the side of Auto Electric in Churubusco, this mural was commissioned by 2nd Floor Gallery & Studio and helped paid for by generous donations from 2nd Floor, Auto Electric, the Town of Churubusco, and many town residents.
The goal for this mural was to expand my usual 'historic' style and create an original work of art. Unlike my past Busco murals, I wanted this work to be big, bright, and colorful. The Eagles represent the local school mascot as it travels from the mountainside to home, the flatlands of Indiana. I really wanted to create something beautiful yet fierce to show the two sides of the community I loved growing up - the calm beauty of a small town, and the strength of communal pride.
'Brevin's: In Historic Churubusco' | Churubusco, IN (2022)
Located on the beloved Brevin's Downtown Eatery in Churubusco, this mural welcomes North bound traffic from Fort Wayne.
Displaying a timeline of Churubusco history, the composition starts with the train tracks that ran over Main Street from the mid 1800's that united two towns and ultimately created Churubusco. The diver and broken net represent the famous hunt for Oscar the turtle, an event that made national headlines. In the early 1900’s, a monstruous turtle was “discovered” in Fulk Lake and was subsequently dubbed the "Beast of Busco", attracting thousands of spectators from all over the country to watch the hunt. For the last section of the mural, I wanted to capture the feeling of modern Busco, a fiercely competitive and prideful town. I painted a break-up of different high school sports to show how the community always comes together for their own.
'A Blind Couples Stand' | Churubusco, IN (2022)
Commissioned by and located on the History Center in Churubusco, this mural memorializes the famous 'Blind Couple's Popcorn Stand' on Main Street owned by Clarence and Fern Brumbaugh in the 1930's. The couple both went blind during childhood and relied on the generosity of the community to thrive. The stand was a popular hang-out for kids and adults alike, who often stopped on their way through town.
'The Lock: Waterfield Plaza' | Roanoke, IN (2021)
Located on the back of Waterfield Plaza in Roanoke, Indiana, this mural was commissioned by Waterfield Enterprises to memorialize the local lock (Dickey Lock). The lock was created along the Wabash & Erie Canal in the mid-19th century which caused Roanoke to become known as one of the best trading and shipping points on the canal.
‘Keep Growing’ | Leo, IN (2021)
Located on Leo Cafe and commissioned by Be-You-Boutique, this small mural is meant to brighten the day of anyone traveling down IN-1
'Popcorn Season: Dell Cove Spices' | New Haven, IN (2021)
Located in the Dell Cove Spices & More warehouse in New Haven, this piece was commissioned by founders Patricia and David to capture the many uses for their popcorn seasonings. Therefore, it displays a panoramic composition of the local Tincaps Stadium, a movie theatre, and a family having a movie night on the couch along with Dell Cove products scattered throughout.
This mural was featured on Fort Wayne's news, Wane 15, upon completion.
'Poker: Elks Lodge #155 Charity Casino' | Fort Wayne, IN (2020)
Located in Elks Lodge #155 Charity Casino on St. Joe Center Rd on Fort Wayne, this mural was commissioned by Matt and Al Naylor. I was given complete creative control over this project and went with a poker theme to tie in the aesthetics of the establishment.
‘Johnny Krieger’ | Churubusco, IN (2019)
After completing my first mural for the town of Churubusco, I was commissioned again to paint a memorial portrait on the side of Churubusco Utilites (which used to be the old, brick fire station).
This mural acts as a memorial for Churubusco's beloved John Krieger. John was born in Busco in the 1930's and had Down's syndrome. At this time, those with this condition were usually sent to institutions or kept indoors. However, his parents refused to do this, and the town supported John in all his endeavors. They watched him grow up and as he started thriving into adulthood, people began "employing" him in several businesses so that he always had something to do. He often helped out at and checked in on local insurance agents, medics, store owners, etc. He visited the police station so often that they gave him his own badge, and he'd ride around on his bicycle making sure there was no trouble in the community. He lived to be 68, passing away in 2003.

Ranney's Body Shop | Churubusco, IN (2017)
Located by Ranney's Body Shop in Churubusco, this piece was my first-ever commissioned mural. As a senior in high school, I interned for the Town of Churubusco as a Utility clerk. When they mentioned they wanted another town mural, I jumped on the chance to be the one to complete it. I had always loved to paint and wanted to expand my skills.
I kept the color scheme black-and-white to keep a historic feel and match the previous murals in Churubusco at the time.
